Jason MartinelliJason started attending OUUC eight years ago with his wife, Alicia, and two kids (Leo, 12 years and Maddy, 10 years).  Then about 2 years ago, Alicia and Jason decided to become members. OUUC has been a good spot to raise a family and grow together spiritually.  Jason has also been volunteering with the children’s religious education program.

Jason worked for 15 years at Community Youth Services (CYS) in the AmeriCorps program. He and Alicia took a one-year intermission during this time to teach English in Chile at a public high school through an NGO and then travel around South America for four months.  Since Leo was born, he worked part-time at CYS and as a stay at home parent. Almost a year ago, he became a full-time stay at home parent, where he spends much of his time coordinating the family’s many activities.  He enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, being a sports fan (particularly the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Sounders), exercising, playing video games, and looking for the next adventure.
